Children set to be excluded from key part of EU asylum rules

MEPs in the civil liberties committee on Wednesday backed a proposal that would exclude children from EU asylum application rules known as the Dublin regulation. "We are no longer sending children from one country to another like parcels. Those days are over," said Swedish liberal Wikstrom, who tabled the amendment.
