Medvedev - Sanctions over Crimea 'price worth paying'

Western sanctions against Russia following its annexation of Crimea were a price worth paying, prime minister Dmitri Medvedev i said Tuesday. In his annual statement to Parliament, Medvedev conceded that the sanctions, combined with the oil price slump, had done “meaningful” harm to the economy, amounting to €25 billion.
