Turkey says EP resolution on Armenia 'null and void'

Turkey's EU affairs minister Volkan Bozkir has said a European Parliament resolution urging wider recognition of the Armenian genocide is "null and void for Turkey and the Turkish nation ... a slander". Turks murdered 1.5 million Armenians in 1915, but Ankara says it happened when they "fell ill" during "deportations".
