EU resolution on Armenian genocide criticises Turkey

A draft resolution by the European Parliament, agreed by political groups Tuesday and to be voted Wednesday, urges all member states to recognise the genocide by the Ottoman Empire, 100 years ago, against Armenians and calls on Turkey, which denies recognition, "to come to terms with its past".
