EU to expand talks with Montenegro

The EU announced Monday it was broadening its negotiations with Montenegro on future EU membership. Talks on taxation and external affairs will now be opened as part of the negotiations, meaning that 18 of the 25 chapters required for countries to join the EU are under discussion.
