Europol chief warns against encryption

Europol chief Rob Wainwright on Sunday said encryption-enabling technologies on smart phones and other devices are enabling terrorists to evade police and security detection. "It's become perhaps the biggest problem for the police and the security service authorities in dealing with the threats from terrorism," he said.
