EU approves €1.8bn to monitor borders, fight terrorism

The European commission Wednesday approved 22 national programmes under the under the asylum, migration and integration fund and the Internal security fund for a total of €1.8 billion. The money will go for border surveillance and the fight against terrorism or human and goods trafficking.
