Ukraine to temporarily stop buying Russian gas

As of next Wednesday (1 April), Ukraine will stop buying natural gas from Russia, Ukrainian energy minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn said Monday, according to Reuters. Ukraine recently increased its gas imports from the EU, and with falling market prices, Ukraine believes it could get a better price for Russian gas.
