Jennifer Baker is joined by James Holtum, spokesperson for the ECR Group, to discuss the ongoing bailout negotiations with Greece.
Last Friday, Eurozone finance ministers reached agreement on extending Greece’s bailout for four more months. On Tuesday 24 February, Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem i will visit the European Parliament’s Economic Affairs Committee to discuss the outcome of the Eurogroup talks with Greece as well as the reform plan submitted by Athens. Holtum believes that “a truly European compromise” is needed to find a way of the Greek debt crisis and at the same time ensure that the Eurozone rules are respected.
