Poverty in Germany at 25-year high

Poverty rates in Germany have reached levels not seen since the 1990 reunification, reports the AFP. A study by Germany's equal welfare association says 12.5 million people were classed as poor in 2013, up from 12.1 million in 2012. Single parents and the unemployed are at the most risk.
