EP cancels visit by Israeli army commander

Right-wing Italian MEP Fulvio i Martuscello cancelled a visit to the EP Tuesday by senior Israeli military officer Yoav Mordechai citing his guest's agenda problems. A pro-Palestinian group, the ECCP, says he cancelled it "due to the pressure of civil society organisations and MEPs" over Mordechai's alleged war crimes in Gaza.
