EU criticises Egypt death sentences

The European Union's foreign service on Monday criticised an Egyptian court's decision to sentence 183 people, suspected of being involved in the killing of 13 policemen in August 2013, to death. The decision is "in violation of Egypt's international human rights obligations" it said.
