Political Directors of EU Foreign Ministries will Discuss the Eastern Partnership, China, and Foreign Policy Priorities

On 15-16 January, the Political Directors of the European Union (EU) Foreign Ministries will convene for an informal meeting in the National Library of Latvia.
Such meetings, in which discussions on foreign and security policy issues take place, are traditionally organized by the country presiding over the Council of the European Union, and are chaired by the European External Action Service. During the meeting in Riga, the Political Directors will exchange views the Eastern Partnership, China and regional security, human rights in the context of the EU foreign policy, and the foreigns policy priorities for the first semester of 2015.
