Jennifer Baker is joined by Utta Tuttlies, spokesperson for the S&D Group, to discuss the group’s take on the European Commission Work Programme for 2015, ahead of the plenary vote on 15 January.

In order to boost growth and reduce unemployment in Europe, Parliament needs to support a strong EU investment plan underlines Tuttlies. Moreover, the social and environmental agenda should be at the core of the Commission’s Work Programme for 2015. Even though the S&D Group supports the Commission’s proposal, MEPs are concerned about the possible withdrawal of the Air Quality, Waste and Circular Economy packages.
