Kosovo war crimes unit appoints US prosecutor

The EU's rule of law mission in Kosovo, Eulex, has appointed a new US prosecutor - David Schwendiman - to head up the SITF, a special cell investigating allegations of Kosovo war crimes. The SITF hopes to start trials in a new international court in The Hague in early 2015.
