EU calls for inquiry into death of Palestinian politician

The EU's foreign affairs chief, Mogherini i, has called for an "independent investigation" into the death of Abu Ein, a Palestinian minister, after he was struck by an Israeli soldier during a protest. She said "excessive use of force by Israeli Security Forces is extremely worrying" and called for Palestinian restraint.
