EU states complicit in CIA torture, says Amnesty

A US senate report on CIA torture of al-Qaida suspects is adding pressure on some EU member states to probe their role in the secret programme. "The CIA and other US authorities did not act alone," says Amnesty International. Poland, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Sweden, the UK, and others were involved.
