A ministerial conference for the launch of the Khartoum Process (EU-Horn of Africa Migration Route Initiative - HoAMRI) will be held at Rome’s NH Midas Hotel on 28 November, co-chaired by Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Paolo Gentiloni and Minister for the Interior Angelino Alfano.
Participants will include the representatives of 40 European, Horn of Africa and Mediterranean African countries, the European External Action Service, the European Commission, the African Union Commission and seven regional organisations.
