Early school leaving, training for teachers, pre-school education and Erasmus+ are among the topics on the agenda.
On 20 and 21 November, School Directors-General of the EU Education Ministries meet in Verona at Sala Consiliare of the Province building. The event is organized by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research and the European Commission and will involve delegations of School Directors-general and policy-makers from all EU member states.
The objective of the meeting is to provide a space to debate and share ideas, best practices and school policies in relation to a set of topics School Directors are responsible for, for instance, early school leaving, guidance, training for teachers, pre-school education, Erasmus+ for 2015.
On this occasion, the latest Eurydice Report on early school leaving will be presented and a special focus will be put on the section about Italy. Moreover, TALIS 2013 Report and the first results of the consultations on the state of the art of the ET2020 Strategy implementation in the member states will be presented also.
