MEPs call on Turkey to withdraw vessels off Cyprus

The European Parliament Thursday adopted a resolution supporting Cyprus' rights to explore natural resources within its exclusive economic zone (EEZ) and calling on Turkey to withdraw vessels exploring for oil and gas in the area. Turkey’s EU Minister Volkan Bozkır said Ankara will “not accept” the resolution.
