European countries mull recognising Palestinian state: report

An unnamed senior European official told the Wall Street Journal on Friday that some European countries may recognise Palestine as a state if the peace process fails. Last month, Sweden officially recognised the Palestinian state. “Other European countries are poised to follow Sweden,” said the source.
