"EuroMED": Euro-Mediterranean Conference on management of inland and marine waters on 3 and 4 November in Naples
A challenge for international cooperation on research and innovation
EuroMED, the Euro-Mediterranean Conference, organised by the National Research Council during the six-month Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, with the support of the European Commission, is held on 3 and 4 November at Stazione Marittima, in Naples. The goal of the meeting is to identify the challenges related to the proper management of inland and marine waters for the blue growth of the Mediterranean countries, through European cooperation.
The conference will be opened by the Italian Minister of Education, Universities and Research, Stefania Giannini. There will also be thematic workshops and plenary sessions devoted to the activities in the Mediterranean Sea, from fisheries to coastal tourism, as well as the impact of sustainable economic growth on society.
