Sweden to recognise Palestine on Thursday

Sweden on Thursday is set to officially recognise Palestine as a state, reports Haaretz. The plan has riled the Israelis, who have protested the move, first announced earlier this month during the swearing-in of Sweden's new government. British and Irish politicians have also called for similar measures by their countries.
