Colombia and Peru pass EU criteria for visa-free access

The EU commission on Wednesday said Colombia and Peru have passed the criteria needed to obtain short-term visa-free access to the EU's border free Schengen zone. The visa waivers still needs the approval of member states and the European Parliament, possibly in the second half of 2015.
