Slovenia sends political novice as commissioner candidate

Slovenian Prime Minister Miro Cerar i on Friday nominated Violeta Bulc i, a businesswoman who joined politics less than a month ago, to be the country's EU commissioner. A spokesman for EC chief Juncker i said he will meet Bulc early next week and decide on the portfolio afterwards.
