Legal affairs committee to meet Monday on Canete

The European Parliament's legal affairs committee will meet Monday evening to "scrutinise" the declaration of financial interests of Spanish commissioner Miguel Arias Canete i. MEPs deciding if he is fit for the energy and climate portfolio requested a legal opinion as Canete changed his declaration on the eve of the hearing.
