Lobbyists spend at least €99mn in EU capital

Civil society group CEO says 10 firms alone spend €39mn a year lobbying the EU, while Brussels' main lobby companies turn over €60mn a year. US firms, led by Philip Morris, ExxonMobil, and Microsoft are the top spenders. Fleishman-Hillard, Burson-Marsteller, and Hill & Knowlton are the top lobby companies.
