EU may have to 'rethink' energy relations with Russia

German chancellor Merkel Monday said there are "good reasons to continue the energy partnership with Russia", reports Reuters, but added that if there is "continued violation of basic principles" the EU would have to "think about what we might have to change in the medium to long term".
