The informal meeting of EU Telcommunication Ministers on 2-3 October in Milan

Internet governance, use and development of the web at the centre of the debate

The informal meeting of the European Telecommunication Ministers takes place on 2 and 3 October at MiCo conference centre in Milan. The EU Commission Vice-president and the Digital Agenda Commissioner Neelie Kroes will speak at the event. The event, which is chaired by the Italian Undersecretary of Economic Development Antonello Giacomelli, focuses on internet governance as well as the use and development of the web.

Delegations arrival and the working dinner are scheduled for the 2nd of October. The meeting starts at 9:00 A.M. on Friday 3 September and ends with a joint press conference of Undersecretary Giacomelli and Commissioner Kroes at 1:30 P.M. of the same day.
