Italy spotlights IS Libya threat in EU defence meeting

Italian minister Pinotti told press after an EU defence chief's meeting in Milan the Islamic State "might spread to Libya ... it poses a threat to the EU and to our [Italian] territory". She referred to the Ukraine war once, calling it "what's happening to the east of us".
