Informal meeting of EU Defence Ministers on 9 and 10 September in Milan
Foreign Affairs Ministers from the 28 Member States will also take part
The informal meeting of the European Union Ministers of Defence will be held on 9 and 10 September 2014 at the MiCo conference centre in Milan and will be chaired by the Deputy Secretary General for the European External Action Service, Ambassador Maciej Popowski, and hosted by the Italian Defence Minister i Roberta Pinotti in the context of the six-month Italian Presidency of the EU Council.
On 9 September at 2:30 P.M. Minister Pinotti and Ambassador Maciej Popowski will welcome the Heads of Delegation and will start the meeting.
The meeting will continue on 10 September and will conclude with a joint press conference of the Italian Defence Minister Roberta Pinotti and the Deputy Secretary General for the European External Action Service, Ambassador Maciej Popowski. Foreign Affairs Ministers from the 28 Member States will take part to the event, along with the European Union Institutions.
