EU court rules against Spain on inheritance tax

The European Court of Justice has ordered Spain to change its inheritance tax laws following a ruling on Wednesday. The court said that the practice of levying higher inheritance tax rates if the the deceased was a non-resident of Spain was illegal under EU law.
