UN issues warning over new EU sea patrol

The UNCHR has warned an EU sea border patrol could lead to more migrants dying trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea if it does not match resources put in by Italy. The European Commission announced plans for a Frontex plus mission to replace Italy's Mare Nostrum programme on Tuesday.
