Spain has highest youth unemployment rate

Spain has the highest youth unemployment rate in the EU according to figures released Friday by Eurostat. 53.8 percent of Spain's 16-24 year olds are jobless, marginally higher than Greece's 53.1 percent rate. Germany and Austria had the lowest youth unemployment in the bloc, each posting a 4.9 percent rate.
