European Affairs Ministers meet in Milan for an informal meeting on 28-29 August

A two-days meeting focussing in particular on the EU priorities and the “Strategic agenda for the Union in times of change”

On Thursday the 28th and Friday the 29th of August, the European Affairs Ministers will participate in an informal meeting that will take place in Milan. The meeting will be chaired by Sandro Gozi, Italy’s undersecretary of state for European policies.

Delegations are expected to arrive at Mi.Co. conference centre at 1:00 PM on Thursday and to take part in the working lunch (1:30 PM) during which they will organize the work of the two days.

At the heart of the meeting there will be the “Strategic agenda for the Union in times of change” adopted at the European Council of 26-27 June, the functioning of the Council configurations and the EU priorities.

The press conference of the representatives of the Presidency of the Council and of the European Commission is scheduled at 11:35 AM on Friday the 29th.
