Research infrastructures at the heart of the debate
The future of competitiveness and research in Europe lies at the heart of the agenda of the informal meeting of the EU Research Ministers that will take place at MiCo conference centre in Milan on 22 July.
A central issue of the debate will be research infrastructures, in view of the role they play in the development of knowledge and new technologies as well as in favouring researchers’ mobility. The Minister for Education, University and Research, Stefania Giannini, and the European Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science, Maire Geoghegan-Quinn i, will open the meeting.
