EU blocks Russian gas increase on Opal pipeline

The EU commission says Russia cannot increase gas flows in the Opal pipeline, which ships volumes from the Nord Stream pipe to Germany onward to the Czech Republic, because "certain technical aspects require further attention". The move comes after it blocked construction of Russia's South Stream pipeline citing legal problems.
