On 21 July 2014, TweetUp with ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano, “ambassador” of the six-month Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
To participate in the event it was necessary to answer correctly to the following question “How many Volare mission EVAs have been carried out?” and to type the hashtag #MeetParmitano in the answer. Do you want to know the right answer? “Volare mission EVAs were five. Two of them were carried out by Luca Parmitano”.
Participation was overwhelming but only 40 lucky followers will have the opportunity to meet Luca Parmitano at the TweetUp that will take place at Esa/Esrin headquarters.
Your answer will be displayed amongst the favourite tweets of our account @IT2014EU. We remind you that Italian is the official language of the TweetUp. At Esrin headquarters a broadband Wi-fi connection is available . We would also like to remind you that expenses for travel, lodging and accommodation will not be covered. A shuttle-bus service will be provided for transfer from Piazza Esedra to Esrin/Esa at 3:00 P.M.
Moreover, the websites of the six-month Italian presidency of the Council of the EU and of Esa reserve the right to stream the event and to post related articles and pictures. Participating in the event implies accepting the conditions above.
