France to repay €20mn in farm funding

A total of €20 million of EU agricultural policy funds, unduly spent by France, was Wednesday claimed back by the European Commission under the so-called clearance of accounts procedure. In total, Brussels ordered €57 million back from 15 member states after audits had shown the funds was not spent properly.
