On Wednesday the 2nd of July, the President of the Council Matteo Renzi will present the programme of the six-month Italian presidency of the EU Council. During the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, at 3 P.M., the Prime Minister will outline the objectives and priorities of the Italian presidency. The opening of the plenary session will mark the official start of the 12th Italian presidency.
