Decision on Van Rompuy, Ashton sucessors in July

EU leaders will not select candidates for the European Council presidency or the bloc's foreign policy chief at this week's summit, diplomatic sources said Wednesday. They are expected to nominate Jean-Claude Juncker as the next European Commission president, and will meet on 16 July following the EP's vote on him.
