Ljubljana named European Green Capital

Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana was Tuesday named European Green Capital i 2016 at a ceremony in Copenhagen, the 2014 Green Capital. Bristol is the 2015 winner of the award, which is initiated by the European Commission. It is the first time the title goes to a city in Central and Eastern Europe.
