EU becomes world's top food exporter

The EU in 2013 leapfrogged the US to become the world's top exporter of farm products. The European Commission says EU states sold €120bn of farm goods, with growth mainly in China, Middle East and north African markets, but with falling sales in Japan due to the euro-yen exchange rate.
