Luxembourg consumption rate per capita highest in EU

Luxembourg's consumption rate per capita is 40% over the EU average, according to the EU's statistical office Eurostat. Germany ranks second at 25% over the average, followed by Austria and Sweden. Romania and Bulgaria have the lowest rates at about 50% below the EU average.
