Bulgaria sets early election dates

Bulgaria is set to hold early parliamentary elections on either 28 September, 5 October, or 12 October, reports Novinite. Calls for early elections were made because of political instability. The head of Bulgaria's ruling socialist party, Sergei Stanishev, earlier this month described the government as being on "life support".
