Tusk defends his central banker in Polish tape scandal

Poland’s PM Donald Tusk i has thrown his weight behind central bank governor Marek Belka, saying he didn’t break any law in a secretly-taped conversation with a government minister in July 2013. Belka is heard discussing possible support for the government before elections. Polish law prohibits government interference with the bank.
