Germany top immigrant destination after US: OECD

Germany is second to the US as destination of choice for immigrants, according to a 2012 survey of permanent migration published by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on Tuesday, reports Reuters. In 2009, Germany ranked eighth. Most Germany-bound migrants came from other European countries.
