Foreign Affairs Council (12.05.2014)
The crisis in Ukraine is high on the agenda of the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC), starting at 9.30 (CET) on Monday 12 May in Brussels, chaired by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton i. Ministers will be taking stock of ongoing work and are expected to adopt conclusions.
The Council will then turn to the state of play in the Middle East peace process, while, over lunch, there will be an exchange of views on the EU's neighbourhood policy with countries in both eastern and southern Europe.
A press conference will take place at end of the meeting (+/- 16.00 CET).
The EU-Albania Stabilisation and Association Council will start at 17.00 (CET) on Monday, chaired by the Greek Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Evangelos Venizelos, who will also be chairing the EU-Algeria Association Council, taking place on Tuesday 13 May, at 9.00 (CET).
