EPP criticised for silence on Hungarian nationalist lawmaker

The leader of the European Parliament's centre-left group Hannes Swoboda i has criticised the centre-right EPP for not rejecting the election of radical nationalist Jobbik lawmaker Tamas Sneider as deputy speaker of Hungary’s new parliament, reports MTI. Swoboda says the EPP could have rejected the nomination but chose to remain silent.
