850,000 Bulgarian 'phantom' voters

Some 850,000 Bulgarians on the electoral voter registration list are not allowed to vote according to the Sofia-based Centre for Demographic Policy, reports Bulgarian news agency Novinite. The Central Election Commission lists 6.5 million eligible voters but says many people registered in Bulgaria no longer live in the country.
